I think it’s hypocritical the use of the West (but let me say of the “advanced World”) not thinking and axploiting the Third (and Fourth) World, unless when there is some tragedy in that Countries. Let’s face the last one: the Earthquake in Haiti. Do you heard somebody talk about Haiti before? Nope. There was someone goin’ on holiday to the Dominican Republic, someone to Jamaica, someone to Cuba but nobody to Haiti. In Haiti there are hotels but I think that’s the poverty next door irritating: you see huts just in front of you like an insult to your holiday and to your right to take a rest. After the Earthquake everybody is sayin’ “poor men… they have nothing…”. They did have nothing even before. Now they are even more in troubles and need everybody’s help. But please, dear westerner, after you donate for Haiti, don’t forget Haiti. Don’t clean your conscience with just a donation.
